Welcome peeps to
this month's edition of Triviaaa Newsletter
First off, to all those people who may have been affected by the
hurricane's Katrina and Rita, know that our thoughts and prayers are
with you and your family and friends from all of us here. Ironic
that they are named after women. I guess it's sorta like Mother
Nature pm'sing... I dunno. Anyway, our thoughts and prayers are with
you, and we hope your suffering wasn't too enduring and your losses
weren't great.
Ok, onto this month's minutes: Contrary to rumor, no, half the ops
in triviaaa haven't resigned in a huff over who's going to play
Santa at this year's upcoming Christmas party. We just haven't
worked it out yet. Let it be known that I personally refuse to play
the little f*&^%$ elf again. Hell, that suit last year was way too
tight. So anyone who wishes to nominate themselves for the role,
please contact me about it and I will pass it on to ms_hornier,
seeing that no one else wishes to talk about it.
Onto the second issue: It's official, the Easter Carnival for 2006
is off. Because of a lack of membership fees. We have had to make
some drastic cuts to the bar and other facilities in triviaaa, and
well, we couldn't book the farmers paddock in Dicksville, Ohio, so
the free loving hippie revival is all the go so I have heard. They
got it on the cheap apparently. Anyway, we are still hopeful in
holding the three legged sack race... if we can get a discount on
sacks.
Third issue: As you may know, ACN farted again (technical talk for
it went down) last week; and speaking of the nominated word, we have
had a great response to the brown paper bags mentioned in last
month's newsletter. If you didn't get yours, sorry, we've run out.
You'll just have to hold it in. Anyway, again, contrary to rumor,
no, the blackout wasn't the result of the hurricane, or the fact
that women are using electrical operated vibrators in a week of
extra activity that caused a power surge. Lesson I think for us all
on that one: gossip leads to grrrr'ing. Just thought I'd clear that.
Ok, onto points:
We now have 119 members on the forum site, that continues to
grow with new games, topics and shops.
The triviaaa Enquirer started Sept. 16th with several good
stories to choose from. The first winner was
Xen.
The idea of this game is to write a story about the picture posted,
and the best one will be voted the winner. Don't be shy to give it a
go peeps, and if you like this idea, and enjoy contributing to it,
you may want to also contribute to triviaaa Story Time.
Flash of Fashion Shop opened. A place where you can buy those
little extras you've been looking to spend your hard earned coins
on. I like the Slut Red nail polish, not for me of course (that's
it, I aint doing the *&&^% elf thing again). Anyway, have a look for
yourselves!
